Winter Wonderland

The first real snow of the season came today, and it was like the whole city slowed down; I don’t know how snow makes it seem quieter outside, but I swear I could hear each flake as it fell to the ground. After a long morning behind my computer screen, I took a deep breath of crisp air as I left the library and knew I had to get my camera. Miami is especially magical with a fresh blanket of snow, and since these are my last few days in Oxford, I wanted to document the snow globe effect of a Miami winter.

I  captured all of these images within an hour on a little adventure around Oxford. Consider it a moment in time.

**If you’re in the thick of finals week like me, seriously go get outside. Snow is straight-up refreshing, friends.**

Oh, my heart. It has been too many years to count since I was in Oxford in the snowy season. These many years, I had forgotten how beautiful it is, under a thick white blanket. Thank you SO MUCH for reminding me. Wishing you ALL the best as you continue life’s journey. Never forget the magic of Oxford and Miami University.

Absolutely beautiful. Miami truly has a magnificent campus and Oxford is stunning under the snow.
