A Midwest fine art wedding photographer serving couples more passionate about their marriage than their wedding.
I'm a hopeless romantic with a passion for documenting love stories. Natural light makes my heart sing, breakfast dates are my jam (get it?), and my former camp crush is now my new husband (!). I call the Midwest home, but I’ve left my heart all over the world and would love to travel for the rest of my days. If I’m not on an airplane, you can find me at an outdoor cafe, on the shores of Lake Michigan, or picking wildflowers on the side of the road.
we were together. i forget the rest.
I was blessed to meet my now husband at SpringHill summer camp when we were only 15 years old. Despite his home in Indiana and my home in Michigan, we knew we wouldn't be just friends much longer. We even endured another four years of long distance in college, and finally got married in February of 2017!
Growing up in The Mitten State, we made frequent trips up north to spend summers in quintessential beach towns on Lake Michigan. The ocean is magical, but for me it will never beat out the Great Lakes. I know I'm home when I'm eating Kilwin's ice cream on the docks in Harbor Springs, MI!
I was always that kid who was more excited about back-to-school shopping trips to Staples than the mall. In my adult life, that translates to a love for all things Rifle Paper Co. If you're unfamiliar, Rifle is an amazing paper goods company based out of Orlando- I have to stop myself from buying everything they make!
I am blessed to have an airline pilot for a father, and as a result was exposed to a lot of traveling at a young age. To date I have been to over 20 countries, and new places & cultures will always have a special place in my heart (this picture is from my semester in New Zealand). Considering a destination wedding/elopement? I'm your girl!
Connor and I call the great city of Indianapolis home, and we are constantly telling people how much we love it here. Before moving to Indy I had images of corn and tractors (and while I'm not completely wrong) we love everything that is going on in this creative community! In fact, Connor runs an apparel company called Hoosier Proud. Check it out!
I realize that this has become cliche in the last couple of years, but Connor & I were on the donut train before it became cool. We both have fond memories of trips to the donut shop with our dads when we were young, and perhaps as a result still eat too many to this day. We even had a donut bar at our wedding!
We feel so blessed to have found such an amazing community in Indianapolis. As much as I love photography, I know that my real identity and purpose is found in the glory and grace of God! We are passionate about serving our community and sharing the love we've found in Christ.
Sure it hasn't all been perfect, but I've been blessed to live an incredibly full life thus far. In my own experience, I feel like I know a person best when I watch their eyes light up as they discuss a passion of theirs or recount a favorite memory. So here goes: some of all time favorite moments.
