This was a special wedding for me because I got to travel all the way out to Colorado to capture the stunning wedding of Katie & Dominic! You may remember them from their Rocky Mountain National Park engagement session last fall. If you can’t tell from the photos, both the Molinaro & Surline families (and their friends) know how to have a good time. This wedding was a joyful celebration from the moment I arrived, and the party continued well into the night (complete with a dessert food truck)!
I could gush over all of the details (that color palette though), but instead, I’d rather use this space to talk about the special relationship that Katie & Dominic share- here is their story in Katie’s own words:
“We met at Historian’s Ale House and were instantly drawn to each other. We both enjoy the outdoors- hiking and camping with our dogs and exploring the amazing city of Denver. We dated for 3 years before he set up the most beautiful proposal at my favorite Denver winery- Infinite Monkey. He had spent months creating portraits of me from existing photos and set them up in the barrel room, where he proposed in front of our entire family on the day I graduated with my Master’s from the University of Denver. We celebrated with all of our closest family and friends with a backyard BBQ. : )”
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day, friends! Cheers to a lifetime 🙂
